BREWING TIPS

Teaspoons: ~1-2 per 8oz of water

MATCHA TEA

BREWING TIPS

1. Sift 1/4 - 1/2 tsp of matcha into bowl
​
2. Heat 6oz of water to about 165 degrees
​
3. Add water to bowl and whisk vigorously for about 1 min til the tea becomes frothy
​
4. Enjoy the rich and creamy taste of matcha

ICED TEA - 36oz

(HOT BREW METHOD)

BREWING TIPS

*Items Needed: 36oz pitcher (pitcher 1), another pitcher that can hold at least 3 cups of hot water (pitcher 2), and a strainer*
​
1. Measure out 9 tsps (lighter) or 11 tsps (stronger) of loose leaf tea and put into empty smaller brewing pitcher (pitcher 2). Heat up 3 cups of water within temp. of the specific tea type from the instructions above in "How We Make Hot Tea" section
​
2. Add the 3 cups of hot water into smaller pitcher (pitcher 2) with the 11 teaspoons of tea leaves and steep for 3-5 minutes with an occasional stir 
​
3. Add 2-3 cups of ice cubes and 1 cup of cold water to empty 36oz pitcher (pitcher 1)
​
4. Pour and strain the 3 cups of brewed tea from smaller pitcher (pitcher 2) into 36oz pitcher. Enjoy right away or chill longer in fridge :)
